Dr. Pasqualini is the Buchanan & Seeger Professor of Medicine and Cancer Biology at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She is an internationally recognized expert in vascular biology, metastasis, and angiogenesis. She originally co-developed the in vivo phage display targeting system and is recognized for her contribution to identifying organ- and tumor-specific ligands to target vascular receptors. Dr. Pasqualini serves on several NIH grant review boards (NCI, NIDDK, RAID, SBIR, and STTR programs), the U.S. Department of Defense (Prostate Cancer Research Program), Department of Energy, and several international funding agencies. Dr. Pasqualini has been working with all aspects of phage display technology for nearly 15 years and has published extensively in this area.

Education and experience
Dr. Pasqualini received her doctorate in Biochemistry from the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research at the University of São Paulo, Brazil and postdoctoral training from Children's Hospital Medical Center of Harvard Medical School, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and the Burnham Institute in La Jolla.
